THE INITIAL PLANNING

Typically, a home building process begins by securing a property where the home will be. If you currently own one, the process will be easier! If not, we will help you secure one. We will need to survey the property to determine what kind of structure can be built on it, and where. We will then begin to start the planning process. The planning process consists of a couple major items. It is important to nail down a budget in which the project should cost. Once that is out of the way, we can determine the type of house that can be built within that budget. Depending on the budget, we can build a big house, less details, or less house, more details. The choice will be up to you! The plans for a house can either be purchased, or custom designed by us, the way you want it. We will then submit the plans through engineering, which will give us a solid understanding of how the structure needs to be built. Once engineering is complete, the permitting begins. Permits will then be approved by the city, and the home building can begin.

The process may seem overwhelming, but we will be the ones doing all the work and making sure the process is moving smoothly and comfortably.
